How to Get There / Como llegar
When I read the information on how to get to our BJJ Camp (for example, here), I almost get scared because it seems very complicated. But it seems that way because it’s written with many details, and these details take up a lot of space. In the end, I have a very long text. I’m going to say the same thing: how to get to the camp, but simpler. So:
First, you need to get to the central bus station in Málaga, which is right in the city center. It’s easy.
You have to take a bus that goes to a nearby town called Vélez-Málaga. Buses leave every hour, and the journey takes one hour.
That’s it: at the Vélez-Málaga bus station, we pick you up and take you to the camp. It’s that simple.
Cuando leo la información sobre cómo llegar a nuestro BJJ Camp (por ejemplo, aquí), casi me asusto porque parece muy complicado. Pero parece así porque está escrito con muchos detalles y estos detalles ocupan su espacio. Al final, tengo un texto muy largo. Voy a decir lo mismo: cómo llegar al campamento, pero más simple. Entonces:
En primer lugar, debes llegar a la estación central de autobuses en Málaga, que está justo en el centro de la ciudad. Es fácil.
Debes tomar un autobús que vaya a un pueblo cercano llamado Vélez-Málaga. Los autobuses salen cada hora y el viaje dura una hora.

Price and Accommodation
Our BJJ Camps always follow the same structure: they are 5-day camps and the prices range between 200 and 250 euros. Considering that this price includes accommodation for four nights at the center, I believe our camps are the most economical worldwide.
Sometimes people ask me: «What if I sleep elsewhere, what’s the price then?» Well, the answer is: the same price. Let me explain why. Normally, when a camp is organized, its price includes both the camp fee and the cost of accommodation in a hotel. Naturally, if someone does not want to stay in that hotel, the total price they pay would be lower. However, our camps are organized in our own house, so we don’t have extra costs for accommodating people.
Nuestros BJJ Camps siempre siguen la misma estructura: son 5 días de campamento y los precios varían entre 200 y 250 euros. Si consideramos que este precio incluye alojamiento para cuatro noches en el centro, creo que nuestros camps son los más económicos a nivel mundial.
A veces la gente me pregunta: «¿Y si duermo en otro sitio, cuál es el precio?» Pues la respuesta es: el mismo precio. Déjame explicar por qué. Normalmente, cuando se organiza un campamento, su precio incluye tanto el costo del campamento como el del alojamiento en un hotel. Naturalmente, si alguien no desea alojarse en ese hotel, el precio total que paga sería menor. Sin embargo, nuestros camps se organizan en nuestra propia casa, por lo que no tenemos gastos adicionales para alojar a la gente.
Meals / Comida
In our camps, food is not included in the price. Each participant arranges their own meals. There are several options. The first is to cook at the center. We have everything prepared for this, and on the day of arrival, we help people with grocery shopping. Another option is to eat at one of the two nearby restaurants. They are typical Spanish restaurants. Depending on what you want, you can eat very economically. For example, at midday, there is a «menu del día» which includes three courses: starter, main course, and dessert. The total price is 10 euros. And, of course, if you prefer, you can eat more expensively. It all depends on you.
Additionally, at each camp, we organize a barbecue party. It’s abundant, with plenty of grilled meat, lots of beer, and we enjoy this time together. And of course, you don’t have to pay anything extra for this.
En nuestros campamentos, la comida no está incluida en el precio. Cada participante organiza su comida por sí mismo. Hay varias opciones. La primera es cocinar en el centro. Tenemos todo preparado para esto y, el día de llegada, ayudamos a la gente a hacer la compra. Otra opción es comer en uno de los dos restaurantes que están cerca. Son típicos restaurantes españoles. Dependiendo de lo que desees, se puede comer muy económicamente. Por ejemplo, al mediodía hay un menú del día que incluye tres platos: primero, segundo y postre. El precio total es de 10 euros. Y, por supuesto, si prefieres, puedes comer más caro. Todo depende de ti.
Además, en cada campamento organizamos una fiesta de barbacoa. Es abundante, con mucha carne a la parrilla, mucha cerveza, y disfrutamos de este tiempo juntos. Y claro, no tienes que pagar nada extra por esto.
Instructors
For each camp, we invite instructors who are always black belts and, in addition, are active instructors at a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy. All of them have won important championships and have extensive teaching experience. I am confident that we offer the highest possible quality of instruction.
Para cada campamento, invitamos a instructores que siempre son cinturones negros y, además, son instructores activos en alguna academia de Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Todos ellos han ganado campeonatos importantes y tienen mucha experiencia en la enseñanza. Estoy seguro de que ofrecemos la máxima calidad de enseñanza.
